Those interested in submitting workshop ideas for the 2011 STN EXPO this summer in Reno, Nev., are encouraged to do so online through next month.

School Transportation News organizes and produces the annual conference and trade show. This year's event, themed "Putting the Pieces Together," is scheduled for July 23-27 at the Grand Sierra Resort. The focus of the show is to help attendees solve a puzzle, which can take the shape of improving efficiency, quality and safety amid shrinking budgets.

STN is accepting workshop proposals that support this theme. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 25. Preference is given to users who provide multiple workshop ideas. STN covers speaker/presenter round-trip airfare, hotel nights and full conference registration.

The 2010 STN EXPO featured more than 50 workshops and attracted more than 600 regular conference attendees from all across the nation and other countries. School transportation curriculum tracks include Business Management, Head Start, Maintenance, Safety & Security, and Special Needs.

The STN EXPO also features a one-day trade show that houses more than 120 vendor companies.
