Motor Coach Industries (MCI) recently announced a recall to prevent injuries that could be caused by pulley covers that may not stay attached to the coach structure.

The recall, NHTSA Campaign ID Number 11V016000, covers certain D4500, D4505, and D4000 motorcoaches with model years of 2010 and 2011. The engine cooling fan pulley covers may be missing welds that would hold them in place. As a result, the cover could detach from the coach and injure a person or cause property damage.

MCI said that it will inspect and replace any damaged idler pulley covers free of charge. Customers may contact the company for more information by calling (800) 241-2947.
